Children’s Nature Program

Approximately 100 children, ages 6 to 10, participated in North Dumfries Garden Club’s 2025 Children’s Nature Program, held in conjunction with NDCC’s annual Summer Camp.  Each of the individual seven weeks includes an expert speaker on a unique topic, together with a related activity or project and is supported by a number of Garden Club volunteers.

Last year, thanks to a generous grant from Waterloo Region Community Foundation, each child participating received two books ‘On the Nature Trail’ and the ‘Exploring Nature Activity Book for Kids’ plus additional tools to help strengthen their love of nature and the great outdoors.
